Come to Tonys BBQ in Plainfield tomorrow and you will find all the answers to your questions for a small fee. Kirk the owner of NESHO and Ryan the first to do this will be there.

There are people who know, people who spent ALOT of time and money to make it work, made custom parts, trial and error etc.
Should they just GIVE this information away? Don't you think it's worth something?
So far your inability to type like an adult, inability to read, or see that after I told you about the BBQ in Plainfield you ask "where"? I even brought up the BBQ thread so you would see it. This makes me think you're incapable to accomplish this conversion.
Who are you? where are you? If you are who I think you are, I already know enough about you to not want to help.

I do not understand you hostility towards me? Yet you have been very rude and even questioned if I am a adult or that I can read. I have posted 3 things and you thing you already know me and what I can do. About the typing I didn't know this was typing class...:spin:

I thought this was a forum where people who enjoyed working on the SHO and talking about this great car could get together and have a sensible conversation as adults. I guess not :(

Tom I checked out your post and notice since it was in Illinios I could not make it since I am on the coast of NC. Since I posted 3 times Tom you should have known that would be a little far to drive on such short notice. Since you know so much about me!

I have had 2 SHO's over the years. 1993 and a 1996! I have a 1996 that is totalled but with a good engine! In 1999 I put the v6 yamaha in a 1988 mr2 and that was just simply cool. I want to put the V8 I have now in the 1993 just to be different but do not what it to be an AUTO. I was just looking for some help NOT A DETAIL PARTS LIST.

Also have a T-bucket hot rod with a Corvette independent rear suspension. The only one around that I know of.

I was just really looking for some good ole car guyz to talk with and swap ideas!

You just showed in your last post another reason why I was hostile towards you, you don't get it.
"I was just looking for some help NOT A DETAIL PARTS LIST"
Yet in your first post you say "I would like to know if anyone has put together a parts list"
You're contradicting yourself.
There is a parts list, and custom parts, but you seem to think everything is free.
Why are you here if you live in NC. and how would I know that, you don't have a location listed under your name.
You asked for some direction and I gave it to you, talk to Kirk at NESHO.
I didn't get harsh until you claimed non of us know anything, so as far as I'm concerned, you are crying because you're not getting the answers you want to hear.
No it's not typing class, but if you want to be treated with respect at least proof read what you type, you came across as another 16 yr old punk dropout. I especialy like how you use the word "since" twice in one sentence and follow it up with two more sentences starting with "Since"
I still don't know if you're just a troll, maybe the guy I was warned about when I brought up this thread at the BBQ, or if you're for real. Maybe you should try http://wwwSHOForum.com, lots of great people there that have done conversions too and they can tell you to talk to Kirk too.

So I guess if I make a few errors in spelling and proper grammar I am condemned for life on this forum.

Now the question is how much does it cost and why is the info top secret?

Why must you drop little comment about crying and stuff like that. Why can we not have a adult to another adult or a man to man or a car guy to another car guy conversation?

If Kirk is the guy to talk to...how do I get up with him....That is really all I wanted to know? Someone to ask and if it cost how much. If I wanted a bunch of smart comments I could talk to my children lol.

Just never thought a simple question would piss one guy off so badly.

I'm not pissed just frustrated a bit because you think there's a list online that explains everything, there's not that many done yet. I don't really care about a couple spelling errors, we all make them, and you're not condemned, it just makes you appear younger than you seem to be if you have kids and all. We are just a bunch of car guys and girls here, we also don't care what you drive, everyone is welcome here. That's one of the great points of a SHOclub, can't have to much of an ego, it is just a Taurus.lol
I can appreciate what you've done in the past, but you joined here, didn't introduce yourself, say where you were, or what you have.
Understand these cars can be had for $500 and we get more than our fair share of punks and trolls talking crap, calling people like kirk and asking him to diagnose wierd sounds over the phone etc.
Kinda wierd to join SHOcago when there's nationwide forums like SHOforum with hundreds more people and knowledge.
Contact Kirk through his NESHO website, but be warned he travels quite a bit, like coming to Chicago for a BBQ, he doesn't sit by the phone but does his best to return calls etc.
FYI next years national convention in July is coming to NC, go to SHOclub.com for details, and I hope you make it and we kill a few beers and laugh about this.

I'll Bring the BUD LIGHT!

Anyway...got the V8 out of the SHO and did some measuring...The darn thing will not fit in the MR2. I knew it would be bigger that the v6 I just didnt think it would be that big.Well let me say it wont fit without cutting the car pretty much into pieces. So I am back to my original idea....JUST PUT THE SHO V6 IN THERE and BE HAPPY!!!!

The V8 really isn't that great of motor for mods anyways. It's a shame, so many people prefer its' vocal cords to the V6.
